Lab technician at ETH Zurich – PSI Quantum Computer Hub. Manuel Werner is part of the Superconducting Circuits team of the ETH Zurich - PSI Quantum Computing Hub. He joined the Superconducting Circuits team in August 2023. After finishing his apprenticeship at the H. Rüetschi AG bell foundry in 2016, he served his duty in the Swiss military and underwent training as a platoon leader for Swiss rescue troops.

In 2018, he started working for Georg Fischer AG while simultaneously working on his Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). From 2021 to 2023, he completed a second apprenticeship as a polymechanic at FrymaKoruma AG.
