Alexander Rommens joined the Quantum Device Lab as a research assistant in October 2023 alongside the Quantum Engineering MSc program. His work is focused on the implementation of modular quantum computers using flip-chip architectures. Previously he worked on superconducting circuit design in the Bosonic Quantum Information group at PSI and loss in qubit flip-chips in the Hybrid Quantum Systems group at ETH.
